Choosing your perfect colour can be quite simple if you know where to start. Couple of things you have to take into consideration:

First of all, the size of your room If you have a small space choosing the brighter colour can make your room looks bigger, more spacious and may reflect more light. On the other hand, if your room is big then the strong colour will be the perfect choice to make it look more inviting and friendly.

Secondly, define the mood. What kind of mood or theme would you like to create in your place? Should that be a relaxing and calming space or you prefer an energetic and vibrant ambience? This is very crucial to think over as the atmosphere of you room will have a huge impact on the way you feel in your own home.  For example, when choosing too vivid colour or your room or for the feature wall, you may end up creating quite a distracting atmosphere in which you may find very difficult to relax after long day.

Last but not least, consider the surroundings of your room. Is the style of your home more contemporary or antique? Are your floors covered with carpet or wood? Also your furnishings play an important role here as they may determine the ideal palette to choose to combine everything together.
